Sunsets

Some photos of the sun setting as seen from my front porch.  Might be more than one from the same night.  Never know just what I might take a picture of as the sky changes :)  You can click on a photo to make it larger if you should wish to.  The first time I did this, and the pictures I posted, appeared on my main blog page:  http://bobcernock.blogspot.com/2013/06/first-time-watching-sunset.html

I'll try to put the latest, first, and if I can remember to do so I'll date them.  My camera doesn't seem to have the option of imprinting the date on the pictures.  Go figure.

I get a kick out of seeing these thin clouds, or whatever they are, appear as the sun is setting where before there were no clouds to be seen.

 

 

 

I just think it is so beautiful when these sun ray shadows appear.  It doesn't happen every sunset but when it does it doesn't last long so getting these pictures pleases me.

 

First time I saw this clearly enough to get a couple shots of it... the sun being bisected by a thin cloud, thin enough for this to appear.

 

Just pretty, to me.
